By James Wadman

I am packed and ready to venture off into a world unknown. I am spending two weeks on the road in Norway and Iceland, so I will be bidding farewell until I return home. Never fear, I do indeed have posts queued for the coming weeks, I will do my best to post as much as possible to Instagram and Twitter, and I will be writing tons of future material, so my voice will not be entirely absent from the beautiful people of the internet world.

One of the greatest challenges I have in traveling is the thought that I will be away from working on all the projects that make useful soul media what it is (or what it could be). But there is a far more important lesson to learn, I believe, when it comes to travel and productivity. The natural world is inspiring and there is more value to experiencing what it has to offer than we could ever find sitting in a studio or in an office. I am traveling in pursuit of something meaningful and inspiring perhaps even life changing.

In this spirit, I have taken the time to look back at some of the things we have done in the year 2015 so far, and offer some insight into what is to come (Click the links– they’re not spam, I promise!).

Of course, these are just some of the highlights and not at all the complete story of 2015. There is also Conscious Talks, Food for Thought, and the Awareness Project, which are the daily posts that keep the blog going around. While away on vacation, I will be collecting photography, video, and inspiration to take back home with me. I will compile the media into videos that I will use to release new music, as well as the very first music video of my song Midnight Sun. I will be releasing my song Piano Rift in mid-late August, which is an incredibly meaningful song to me and I can’t wait to share it. I wrote it nearly a year ago and it has been one of the most careful projects that I have gradually perfected with a team over the course of my journey in music production. These music projects will pair with the steady release of information of my novel, and it will soon be seen how everything in this blog and the Useful Soul Media project comes together.

I will see you soon.
